Cadets
For puppies from 12 weeks of age up to 6 months old.

This foundation class covers the basic skills that your young dog will need to fit in to everyday life. The class will help your young dog remain calm and allow them to make better choices in everyday social situations.
Corporals
For dogs 6 months plus.
To help with adolescent stages
Location – Carnoustie
Blocks of 8 weeks.

This class is specifically designed for the adolescent or adult dog that requires foundation training that may have been missed from puppyhood.
Beginners Nose and Scentwork
Location – Carnoustie

Advanced Scentwork Titles

This collection of scentwork courses allows the dog and owner to develop their scentwork skills in a progressive way, while working towards Bark Brigade’s own scentwork awards.
UK Sniffer Dog Tracking Bronze Level
Location – Carnoustie
Blocks of 6 weeks or an individual workshop.
£75.00 for 6 week course
£55 per workshop.
Tracking is the ability to detect, recognise and follow a specific scent of ground disturbance.When tracking a human, the dogs are taught to follow track scent, which is the disturbance in the ground left by the human’s feet. This course will introduce you to the world of tracking using fun and easy to follow techniques providing a great source of mental exercise for your dog.
Retraining Recall Workshops
Recalls are the most important thing you can teach your dog, not only vital for responsible dog ownership, but makes for happier dogs and owners, the perfect route to stress free walks.
In this workshop we will use fun, motivational and positive methods to engage your dog and build value in the all-important recall.
As well as plenty of practical training we will also discuss the theory of how to build a reliable recall, it will help build your knowledge to understand why certain situations can provoke selective hearing in our dogs, and how to identify and overcome those big distractions.
These workshops are suitable for all ages and breeds of dogs, including puppies who have no recall foundation, or those older dogs who don’t always want to come back.

Cadets Unleashed

This class is a follow-on to our Cadets and Corporals classes. This is an outdoor class with hand-picked exercises to help owner and dog deal with real life situations.
